My Experience.

From my start, I had progressed passed my high school video production class and enrolled in Film Production at Cal State San Marcos. There, I obtained an internship at the Office of Communications, where I would creatively highlight events, stories, and changes to CSUSM on all their official platforms (2017-2020). I then moved on to working in digital marketing at CSUSM’s USU for 5 years, highlighting and producing events, stories, and entertaining content for students while having full creative and logistic obligations (2018-present). Freelance projects have coincided with this job as I have reached outside a university environment to gain experience with other businesses, brands, and clients, creating strong relationships and having inclusive conversations about ideas and visions.

Most of everything that I have learned is from self-taught creativity. From the beginning; starting 2014 I did not know anyone producing what I was, and therefore had to come up with creative means to pull projects together. This includes building props and rigs, finding/manipulating locations, spending days in Premiere Pro or After Effects exploring and guessing what features would do what, learning what camera settings meant, researching equipment to find multifaceted gear that would work past the idea in front of me, etc. All to bring the vision in my head to reality. These experiences have lead a strong commitment to this passion of visions and continuous learning. I have been in pursuance ever since my younger self picked up a camera, and I do not plan on stopping anytime soon.

My Footprint.

Creating meaningful and engaging videos is what I love to do and will not settle for less. Capturing moments and turning them into worthwhile viewing experiences while drawing significance and emotion (even in the nooks and crannies within) means more to me than anything. Sharing that feeling with others is what I value the most.
